We often use  Adverbs of  Frequency  like  sometimes ,  always   and  never   with the present simple : I  sometimes   go to the cinema. Present Simple: Uses + Examples

  Present Simple   We use the present simple to talk about: something that is  true   in the present . I  like  him a lot. Sophie  works  as a travel writer. They  live  in London. Actions or events that  happens regularly or repeatedly   in the present. I play football every weekend. Jacob usually gets up at 6:30. During the week I have piano lessons on Mondays, I do judo on Tuesdays and I have a  swimming practice on Thursdays. Itiel always goes on holiday in the summer. Things that are always true , general facts for example when talking about science or geography. Snakes  live  on the ground, in trees and in water. The human body contains 206 bones. Light  travels  at almost 300,000 kilometres per second.
